Dear Landlord,
I am writing to follow up on the letter I sent you on April 1st. It was regarding the garbage on the sidewalk and stairs near the entrance of the building. Since no action has been taken, I am writing you again.
The garbage cans from the building are exposed to pedestrians walking by on the sidewalk and people often use them as public litter bins which then causes an overflow of garbage that falls to the ground. Oftentimes, since there is no Super in the building, there is no one to remedy this situation, thus the situation gets worse during the day. If you were unaware, the city has left many litter citations on the front door of the building. There is also a four-inch layer of garbage on the ground of the courtyard as well as strewn garbage in the back of the building. Since there is a serious infestation problem in the building, I’m sure most of these litter issues exacerbate this situation. For your reference, I have included photos of the litter outside the building. Please advise when your company will address this problem.
Sincerely,
Last Night’s Garbage
