Charlie really wanted to go snowboarding with his buddies but since Meg was nagging him so much, it was easier for him to just give in, and go with her. She even made him buy her some thousand dollar ski bunny outfit. But, you know what, Charlie was going boarding – so he was psyched. But this wasn’t what he considered “boarding.” Standing around in the cold trying to convince Meg to point her board down the hill was getting frustrating. Teenage surfer dudes shredded past them as Charlie felt jealous, craving the freedom of speed and turns. Finally, she gave up, and traded her mittens for a large cup of hot cocoa. “I don’t think I can date a girl that doesn’t board,” he was thinking, as he looked out the window of the base lodge, defeated.
