We do not live in Liberty City. Or the borough of Algonquin. We cannot change the channel nor turn it off. Cash money stimulus will be delivered to our front doors alongside tidal waves of polar ice cap melt. Exxon, BP, Chevron and ConocoPhillips are just enticing brand names that hide the incompetence and monstrosity of generational greed. So the cycle goes ’round, and our hard earned wages are relinquished to the very people that we have entrusted to lead us. Meanwhile, no one knows where the bees have gone. Queen bee cannot concentrate because the airwaves are polluted with voicemails and text messages. And the consumption of keeping up with the Jones’ has sent us into a whirlwind. Alas, it can all be saved, but only if we can get out of the way of ourselves.
