There are few better ways to dress grilled corn than slathering it with mayonnaise loaded with cayenne pepper, then rolling it in Cotija cheese and squeezing lime juice over it. After grilling the corn, simply pull back the husk to create a built-in handle and enjoy.
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 medium garlic clove, minced
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
3/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
3/4 cup crumbled Cotija cheese (about 4 ounces)
6 ears corn, husks on
1 medium lime, cut into 6 wedges
Instructions:
1. Stir together mayonnaise, garlic, salt, and cayenne in a small bowl until well combined. Place cheese in a shallow dish that is at least as long as the corn.
2. Heat the grill to medium high (about 375°F). Before grilling the corn, carefully peel back the husks of each ear a little more than halfway and remove as much silk as you can without pulling the husks off. Then pull the husks back up.
3. Place the corn on the grill and close the lid. Every 10 minutes, roll the corn a quarter turn so it cooks evenly. (If your grill tends to have hot spots, move the cobs around so they grill evenly.) Cook until the husks are charred and starting to peel back from the corn, about 35 minutes total. Remove from the grill and set aside until the corn is cool enough to handle.
4. Without detaching the husks, peel them back completely, turning them inside out so they form a handle. Brush the corn with a thin layer of the mayonnaise mixture, roll the cobs in the crumbled cheese, and serve. Pass lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the corn.

The first wintry storm of the season snarled parts of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania on Tuesday as snow and high winds disrupted schools, roads and power lines throughout the region and up to a foot of snow was forecast in northern New York.
The weather closed some schools New York and Pennsylvania and caused numerous accidents on Interstate 84, which was closed for a time near Port Jervis, where the three state borders meet.
The National Weather Service said snowfall totals by Wednesday morning could range from a few inches in areas south of Buffalo and around Albany to 8 to 12 inches in the Adirondacks and the Tug Hill Plateau north of Syracuse.

The seed is sown and the path is paved for change. Will politics as usual win out in the end, even if the golden boy makes history? 100 bought Senators sit patiently waiting and 435 bitter House Representatives sit gnawing their fingernails, anticipating a new boss in town. Oil is our nations crack and carbon, our worlds cancer. Progress? Hope? Change? It’s not up to him, it’s up to you.

April 18, 2008 — It’s a good thing Osama wasn’t walking through SoHo yesterday morning. Two sets of confidential blueprints for the planned Freedom Tower, which is set to rise at Ground Zero, were carelessly dumped in a city garbage can on the corner of West Houston and Sullivan streets, The Post has learned.
Experts said the detailed, floor-by-floor schematics contain enough detail for terrorists to plot a devastating attack. “Secure Document – Confidential,” warns the title page on each of the two copies of the 150-page schematic that a homeless, recovering drug addict discovered in the public trash can.

The colour orange occurs between red and yellow in the visible spectrum at a wavelength of about 585 – 620 nm, and has a hue of 30° in HSV colour space. The complementary colour of orange is azure, a slightly greenish blue. With pigments such as paints or inks, a mixture of the subtractive primary colours in the proportion of 75% yellow and 25% magenta produce the secondary colour orange. Orange pigments are largely in the ochre or cadmium families, and absorb mostly blue light.

On Wednesday (February 6) the New York medical examiner’s office released the official cause of actor Heath Ledger’s death: acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine.
The office concluded that the manner of death was accidental, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications. The drugs, according to the medical examiner, are the generic names for the painkiller OxyContin, the anti-anxiety drugs Valium and Xanax, and the sleep aids Restoril and Unisom.
